The Bamse Project web site ("the Web Site") is owned and operated by the Montrose Heritage Trust ("MHT"), an organisation based in Montrose, Scotland, UK. Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Web Site. Your use of the Web Site indicates your agreement to comply and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

All information, services and materials on the Web Site are provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind. Inclusion of content from 3rd Party Web sites linked from the Web Site or from companies and organisations included in the MHT links directory does not imply endorsement of the linked content or site or business by MHT. Neither shall MHT have any liability in connection with them including, but not limited, to infringement of copyright or other rights by any person or entity. Your access to and use of content from 3rd Party Web sites remains entirely at your own risk.

Copyright

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the content on the Web Site reside either directly with MHT or with entities that MHT trade with by license. Without the prior written permission of MHT, you may not copy, modify, alter, publish, broadcast, distribute, sell or transfer any material on the Web Site. However, the contents of the Web Site may be downloaded, printed or copied for your personal non-commercial use. You may re-copy downloaded contents from the Web Site for others provided it is not for your profit.

In the normal course of their business, internet service providers ("ISPs") are permitted to cache the Web Site content as described in the European Commissions Regulations on Electronic Commerce (2002).

Protecting your privacy is important to MHT. We hope the following statement will help you understand how MHT collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site.

When you register on our mailing list or fill in a contact form you are asked to provide email and name information as a minimum. You may also optionally provide address and personal/company details. Information collected in this way may be used to contact you with your requested information or periodic marketing and/or technical information regarding news from MHT. MHT will always make best efforts to send you information that is relevant to you, and without being over frequent. If you wish to unsubscribe at any time, you may do so via the mailing list form or by using the contact details below.

Your personal information will be held only by MHT and will not be disclosed to any third party for marketing purposes.

When you visit the Web Site, anonymous information about your visit will automatically be collected. We use this information only as anonymous aggregate data to determine the number of visitors to different sections of the Web Site, to ensure the Web Site is working properly, and to help us make the Web Site more useful.
