One of our Norwegian friends e- mailed us over the holidays:
"It might also please you to learn that during Christmas Bamse and Montrose was presented as a quiz-question in a "Christmas-quiz" which is a tradition on our national broadcaster. The exact question was "Where is Montrose situated". The introduction to Montrose was done by presenting the Bamse-story while filming his statue, also mentioning that HRH Prince Edward unveiled the statue. There`s hardly a week where Bamse is not mentioned by somebody, or me telling the story to someone..."
There will also be a short item about Bamse on Norwegian TV on the 12th January.
